Dragon Boating Events
Regular Training Sessions
Dragon boating champions aren’t made on race day. They are made during training sessions. We regularly paddle on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6 PM, and on Saturday mornings at 9 AM. Please register your participation on MeetUp here.

- Inverness Dragon Boat Festival – March 23 in Inverness, Florida
- Clermont Dragon Boat Festival – April 13 in Clermont, Florida
- Central Florida Dragon Boat Challenge – May 18 at Ski Beach in Leesburg, Florida
- The IDBF Club Crew World Championship – Aug. 31 – Sept. 8 in Ravenna, Italy
Special Dragon Boating Events & Fundraisers
We are a Cru off the water as much as we are on it. There are a number of special events coming up:
- We enjoyed “Boys in the Boat” so much that we may have a second viewing, especially for those who missed the first showing. Date TDB.
- We will be hosting the Rubber Chicken Challenge Dragon Boat Festival in Leesburg in May as a major team fundraiser
- We will be hosting a Guinness Book Of World Records event to set the record for the most miles paddled in a 24-hour period as a major team fundraiser, date to be determined
