Five Steps to Joining Wun Fun Cru

Join us as a guest paddler for $10. RSVP on Meetup. (Guests are welcome to our Saturday practices)
Sign waiver. You can download it here (print, sign & bring to practice) or we’ll provide you one when you get there.
(The following is necessary only if you choose to join the team after you try us out)
Sign the LCDBC Membership Form
Sign the LCDBC Athlete Code of Conduct
Pay your annual dues

The safety of your fellow Cru members is always our #1 responsibility.
Show up happy, friendly and on time. Negativity breeds negativity and is NOT acceptable behavior on any boat. Negative attitudes and constant complaining makes the entire team wonder why you’re even on the boat!
Be a team player. Join the warm ups, help with the boat etc.Pick up the slack if something isn’t getting done. Respect and encourage your teammates, and celebrate their achievements.
Be mindful of your actions. Are you fully committed? Are you contributing 100% to our team? Are you putting 100% effort into the practice?
Trust your steer. The steer is as much a part of the team as you. We win or lose together.
Let go of your ego. Dragon boating is a team sport. Think about the “we” not “me.”
Protect our team culture. We are all in the same boat- literally! We all need to put effort into keeping our culture and team intact.
Respect each other and trust your coaches. We will always try to do what’s best for THE WHOLE BOAT – PERIOD.
